  • After 15 days of your application submission, the police officer of your area will visit your place to inquire about you. For that, you need a minimum of two witnesses who can support your statement that you are single or have no spouse in your country. 
  • After police verification, your single status certificate will be sent to the State Home Department for verification for document attestation. The State Home Department confirms the legitimacy of your single status certificate with its seal and sign.
